I went out for a lunchtime walk around Edinburgh today. And I thought you might like to join me. It is amazing what one can see, when one pays attention.
There is blossom in the trees already, and spring flowers emerging in people’s gardens:
Pretty pathways and roads with views to the Forth Estuary:
Interesting shops, with their windows also reflecting various things!
Green spaces, here also with signs of spring flowers, views of Edinburgh castle, and architecture where old meets new:
Places to think and people who think:
The city centre, with views of the Scott Memorial, the Balmoral Hotel, Waverley Station, Calton Hill, various bridges, and still more views across to the Forth Estuary:
We are very lucky to live in such an brilliant place – one can certainly never be bored! 🙂
Great photos, Liz. So much nicer than here today with Storm Imogen wreaking havoc!

This is a fun exercise–it gets you to see your own town with new eyes!

You are so right! I really made an effort to look properly at things, rather than just walking by familiar sights. Thank you for picking up on that. 🙂
