Oh my dears, I have a gem for you today. Take a look at this wonderful short film, which adds pictures and music to a reading of Rachel Field’s poem ‘If Once You Have Slept On An Island’.
Director and producer Alistair Corbett has created the most beautiful footage – a perfect match of audio and visual.
Hub and I adore island hopping in Scotland. There is nothing quite like the feeling of being on one of our remote and entrancing outposts. Rachel Field captures this emotion so movingly in her poem, which is hypnotically enhanced by Corbett’s setting.
Absolutely heavenly! Thank-you so much for this Liz!
