I was delighted when Becky (aka Clanmother ) asked me to join her for a podcast conversation about an excellent book we both love: How To Age Joyfully, by Maggy Pigott. We had such fun, as can be heard from all the laughter throughout the podcast. Why not take a listen and laugh along with us! 🙂
I had so much fun stepping into the “podcast unknown”. All we had to do is take a deep breath and dive. Looking forward to our next dive, Liz! Remember we have Ursula K. LeGuin’s thoughts upon which to reflect: “ We read books to find out who we are. What other people, real or imaginary, do and think and feel… is an essential guide to our understanding of what we ourselves are and may become.”

Hi Liz and Rebecca. As Liz’s Mum it was lovely listening to you both talking across the thousands of miles about Maggy’s book and the issues it raises. Rebecca, I think you are forward thinking to embark on your Podcasts, epitomising some of the thoughts in the book. This joint podcast was interesting and fun. One of the things that came out of it for me was that your voices were smiling! I believe that a smile is a perfect way of making connections with others. I am not good at quotes but I bet there is one about smiling! Well done both of you.
